BP HR services transformation project

BP HR services transformation project

IBM iX Studio provided a modern customer experience approach to BP HR who was in the process of a massive global HR services transformation. The very first step was to understand the different users and how new systems of communication would impact them. The UX team gathered information through workshops and interviews.

My role as the lead visual designer in this project started at the extraction and analysis of raw data with the UX team. We drafted 6 personas and their user journeys.

Deliverables: Personas and user journeys / Video of the first workshop / Persona 'on a stick' / Deck 'Customer Experience Foreword'

Handcrafted A3 prints of each persona on thick cardboard with mounted paint stirrers used as sticks. 2 sets of 7 personas. A3 sheets printed at the studio.

These were then used in week-long workshops where BP employees would play the role of a persona. Feedbacks from participants were great, the level of empathy for these personas was a success and a fun addition to a rather serious workshop. The user journeys were also printed in A3 and displayed in the room.
